It’s been about 3 months since I switched my hosting to host gator.

The result?

1. I’m very happy with the hosting. My sites are hardly ever down and I’m amazed how fast it is to set new things up. I read online that when you set up a new addon domain, it takes a while before it registers with Host Gator. But that hasn’t been my experience. Within an hour, my addon domain was totally up, and I’ve added quite a few.

2. This is the best part: I DID get a $50.00 rebate! I logged into Paypal today and saw it. Now, it did take a very long time. They say on their website that you need to be a Hostgator customer for 30 days and then it takes another 4 – 6 weeks.

For me it took exactly 3 months from when I signed up to when they put the rebate in my Paypal account. But that’s ok; a free $50.00 for something I was going to do anyway ain’t bad!!
